d. Synchondrosis: is a joint in which the two bony surfaces are connected by cartilage, particularly hyaline cartilage. Example is the first sternocostal joint between the first rib and the sternum.

e. Syndesmosis: is between two bones joined by an interosseous ligament. The best example usually is the distal tibiofibular ligament by the ankle joint. So it is a fibrous joint between two bones.
Another example is the radioulnar syndesmosis.
