Spermatogenesis begins in puberty, so... - usmleprepgal

Spermatogenesis begins in puberty, so does that mean a prepubertal boy has no mature spermatozoa? Will he only have spermatogonia?

Confused.

Prepubertal boy has Primordial germ cells ( not spermatogonia ).. These Primordial germ cells remain dormant till puberty . After that the whole process starts .
