I found in another forum that it could be diabetes insipidus. So go in this direction.

In Kaplan Notes is written that idiopathic central DI starts often in childhood ( I didn't know about this Sad )
Diabetes insipidus => hypernatremia with high serum osmolariity and urine specific gravity
