My Externship was through Americlerkship, which was last year and I did not get any IV with that. After that I did observership at a clinic for few months n I believe the Doctor won't accept any observers anymore. Later I did few months in a teaching hospital. It was in St. Francis hospital in connecticut. I called the IM department, got the number from website, after trying multiple times I got the spot after 2 yrs.
