What all constitutes US Clinical experience? - believe321

Hi all, Congratulations to those matched!

I have seen many matched ppl having 10 months, 6 months, 8months of US clinical experience.
I am really curious to know what counts as USCE.
I just know the following counts as USCE,
1.Clerkship (only when u r still a student)
2.Externship, which I hardly find anywhere now.

Can anybody give more details as to how they managed to obtained so much of USCE?

it depends on the program.

Some programs say they will consider observerships as USCE others explicitly say they don't count externships or observerships as USCE.
