answer B is correct

the formula is difference in the INCIDENCE of disease in exposed and unexposed.

If, death rate from lung cancer in cigarette smokers.......0.96/1000 per year

death rate from lung cancer in non-smokers........0.07/1000 per year

AR= 0.96-.07= 0.89/1000.

total death rate from lung cancer (ALL causes) is only 0.56/1000 < 0.96/1000 + 0.07/1000??

AR = 0.96/1k-0.07/1k=0.89/1k.
