With methylation you are always deactivation a gene! It rules out C and D.
Choice A deals with the upstream promoter elements which also includes CCAAT box.
Choice E I have no idea what it is talking about!
Choice B is clearly the answer. Acetylation of histone proteins helps in opposing the negative charges and then loosens the chromatin!

Gene expression(by remodelling) not occurred in imprinted genome
and methylation is responsible for genomic imprinting.So E excluded
