That would be depend on the time of bite & clinical presentation;
If you been told 24hrs infected after bite most probably due pasteurella multocida in that case u tx: Amoxicillin+clavulanate if you been told few days/a wk later -> B.henselae or/bite or scratch clincial pic then -> Azithromycin. |
