Mapping AF case - littledoc123
#1
For Block H, case 7 AF---

1. I'll start with orders first--O2, i.v. line, EKG, Cardiac, BP monitor-----> then will go for Focal physical. Here in mapping they do physical first for this case?!

2. After Cardioversion, I'll like to put this pt in ICU for monitoring, once I start Heparin, warfarin and see that he is doing fine (by interval history) I may shift him to ward. Here they shift pt directly to ward for ER.

What's your opinion guys?

if the patient was unstable then you order the BP monitor EKG and O2, otherwise do physical first

Vitals were not stable in this case, still they went for physical first. So I was confused!

unstable means hemodynamically unstable, has severely low BP and unconscious. if only tachycardia, you do physical first
