A 2004 medical graduate, Is it good to do USMLE? - nandika
#1
Hi, I passed out from Medical Collage in 2004 from an Asian country and now 43 years old. I am thinking doing USMLE. Please let me know whether it is a good idea to do USMLE at this stage? If it is good, please give me a list of books/resources to study for step 1. Thanks!

@nandika!!!
I am a 2004 graduate. I did med school in Europe, I worked 7 years in Germany, half of this time in surgery the rest in dermatology. I just pre-matched this year!
I came to the US 5 years ago, did step1 in 2016 -231. Step 2 CK in 2017 - 231, and CS a few months later, passed first time. I also did step3 - 225. My CV is not flawless and I don’t have USCE! Still, I pre-matched! Maybe there was an angel watching all my struggles or it’s a miracle. Idk, but as you can see everything is POSSIBLE!
Go for it if this is what you want!
