I am an IMG -- i gave all my steps , including Step 3 and was ECFMG CERTIFIED IN MARCH 2009. Due to some personal reasons i had to go back to my home country and could not participate in RESIDENCY MATCHING .Now i have completed my MD IN MY HOME COUNTRY ., and WISH TO APPLY FOR RESIDENCY IN USA . Are my scores STILL VALID ? is there any EXPIRATION DATE FOR SCORES AND ECFMG CERTIFICATION??
KINDLY ADVICE , AM WILLING TO APPLY FOR EITHER FELLOWSHIPS OR RESIDENCY This SEASON

ECFMG is certified . You can apply for both residency and fellowship. Just call once to ECFMG and get newer version of certificate. i was in a same boat got everything updated version of certificate.

Once you have completed all the steps your scores are valid and ECFMG certification will be for life time.

Yes you can apply for residency or fellowship programs there wont be any problem. If you got ECFMG certification then there is no expiry date for it.

Can we apply to Fellowship programs without completing any Residency programs?
If yes, then which Fellowship program can I apply in Psychiatry?
