4 year experience in emergency department in home country.
what is my chance for internal medicine and emergency medicine ? should i apply this year ?

Hi, I will suggest to get FM lor and apply in FM . IM and EM requires high scores. But still you can match but needs dedicated research and strong LOR from big places.

It is important to have more hands-on rotations for improving the CV and to make the application better by getting strong LORs. Also, if you are applying to EM specialty then it is important to have LORs from EM specialty itself.

next year i will concentrate on it. this year was very hectic .

Emergency medicine will require higher scores, Internal medicine is a more realistic goal, speciality wise.
