No way. I've heard the avg pathologists salary is $150,000. I have heard it can be as high as $600,000 (maybe for derm-path)

during all of my interviews the attendings stated that they do have research opportunities if u r interested, however, they emphatically state that research isn't their primary interest but rather servicing the hospital/community. however if u r looking to "big name" research institutions like harvard or johns hopkins, etc, they may see research as a necessity, though. hope this helps. |
