Therapy tipically is administetred before antimicrobial suceptibilities are known. All sexual partners should be treated. Since chlamydial infection is common, should treat simultaneously

In a case of GNC, treat for chlamydia also. Partner treatment is necessary to prevent recurrence
In isolated chlamydia infection, no need to treat for GNC. The partner must be treated also.
Actually we don't need to wait till symptoms develop before we start treating for chlamydia infection.
