What are the benefits of giving step 3 and getting an H1 compared to sticking to a J1 visa?
Can one travel freely between home and the states with this H1 visa.
Answers will be very appreciated.

H1B is an employment preference visa enabling foreign skilled force to temporarily fill in the defecits in the US,yes you can freely travel from home and US with this and also you will be eligible to apply for a US greencard if your employer is happy to support you.J1 is a exchange visitor transfer visa from which you cannot change your status of any kind and you will have to go back to your home country for 2 years if you have to change status unless you get a waiver like working in underserved areas of the US for 2 years,there are a lot of hassles being on a J1 visa and you have to show progress every year in order to get an extension and this progress is subjective.
