Hey guys I was wondering wat r my chances of getting into a residency, I failed step 1 and passed it on the second attempt with 85%. I have U.S citizenship

Don't worry about the second attempt. Be honest when the program director will ask you...how come you failed? Just say...you appeared without preparation and realized your mistake. Next time you did very well and the score tells the story. Good luck. You sound like a winner.
