in both there is diastolic dysfunction----

but in case of constrictive peri crditis---there is lv/rv interaction demonstrated by the simultaneouse catherisation of both the ventricles---the pulm.pressure is lower in constrictive peri carditis---and kussumal sign---failure of the RA pressure to fall with inspiration---there is early rapid filling followed by the rapid rise in diastolic pressure---square root sign---
