you can add new personal statement at the ERAS. (you upload it yourself, remember, no need to send it to ECFMG).
I am not sure if you can upload it to the ERAS now though or once it opens to the scramble, but you can certainly prepare a new personal statement for the scramble.
why dont you try to upload it now and let us know?

Hi guys, I just gave my CK today(3/7/11). My result will be available by 3/23. Can I apply for post match scramble? I already gave CS. completed eras application for 2011 match, and applied for 20 programs. I also paid the nrmp fees. but my ck result will be coming a week late so I dont know what to do, Is any body else in the same boat.? Please help
Only 7 days left, I believe...Our fate is already set up . .? They have ruined the match or when they run the match.

Why does it take three weeks from rank order list deadline to Match Day?
During that time, NRMP takes a number of major steps to assure the accuracy of both the Match and the subsequent release of Match information. Those steps include:
Checking the integrity and completeness of the data.
Transferring the data to the algorithm module, checking it again, and running the Match.
Verifying the results of the Match and transferring the data into the NRMP databases.
Creating more than 60,000 individual reports for applicants, programs, and schools, and assuring confidentiality of the information. The reports are then posted to the Web in accordance with the Match Results schedule.
In addition, time is allotted for unmatched applicants and unfilled programs to make decisions before Match Day.

I wish they did not have to do all those but i guess all those steps are necessary.
Hi, according to the above info fro Nrmp, I guess, they finished running match, it won't take long, I heard few sec to minute.
What do you think? O.o..match make me crazy,LoL
I know that the actual "matching" takes 12 minutes..can you belive it? then I guess all thse things you mentioned above...
