I suppose 6 blocks a day works out great if you have no kids, and someone else is paying for your bills
@ doctam that is not case.
I study for 3hr for ccs+1hr for Kaplan q bank+rest of day I study my theorey books.
Before this I did one block of uw+explanations from uw+theorey from books retrospectively.
And it took 7-9 hrs or sometimes 11-12hrs a day. Except two days each week,which I spent on research work.
I was thinking I m giving enough input.
What else shud I do
no kids .. but i had my own place, paid my own bills and had 2 jobs while doing 6+ blocks / day

no excuses if you want to do the prep the right way.

drdss -- ah gotcha, i was under the impression that it was just the 3 hr ccs and 1 block.. but yes, if all that, thats still great .. however I would recommend that if you have sufficiently covered the reading portion of the test material... move onto questions.. and do more questions or as much as you can in a day + read the explanations ! (dont skip over them) .. take notes on them and then compare those notes to your actual notes from previously studied material.. and think about what kind of other questions can be asked from those notes.
at the end of teh day .. the more questions you do the better accustomed you'll become to test taking .. and on test day it wont be a slap in the face when you see long ass questions .. nor will you be restricted with time shortages .. so more than 1 block is recommended... only go back to read if you're performing poorly in some sections after you do a couple of q.blocks.
@doctam.
Thank u for ur advice.
You r doing great job here on this forum.
@doctam.
I was only worried about my assessment exam scores.
That was my question.
Doctam3,

Could you please list all the question banks that are currently available? Someone had mentioned there is a new one that is out besides Kaplan Q bank and USMLE World MCQs that is supposed to be pretty good. Thanks.
