Thanks Bunny. Good to know these things. So they do offer prematch?
Did you ever get offered a prematch? How would you advise dealing with something like that if you still want a shot at your first choice?

for those who were offered an iv at GWU, is GWU a UNI-based program? also, have heard that they are offering only one position, correct? is it a competitive program?...

to amygdala: None of the 13 programs I interviewed with offered me a prematch. Not even St. Barnabas, NJ and Albany Medical Cente, NY which withdrawed themself from the match, and filled out all positions throught prematch offers. Well, I have to say thank you to those two programs. If you have more than 7 interviews and a prematch offer cames not from your number 1,2,3 find a polite way to decline it. Tell the truth, the program is very good, however you have a couple more interviews you really wish to visit. Ask for more time to think on the offer.
I'm starting a new rotation, don't think will have time to show up next 4 weeks.

That was a remarkable no. of interviews. When did you get most of them last year? I am getting a bit gittery abou the entire process. Can you mention some decent programs in the southern region? Hope I haven't missed them.

one of my lors is being uploaded today.....can it be the reason i have not heard from path programs yet.....one more Q? I just received an lor from my path prof....should I send it to eras and get it uploaded or take it with me to the interview

If it is the fourth LOR, there is no harm in uploading it. If it is the 5 th , just take it with you. If you have no other Path LOR, I guess you could definitely upload this by replacing another. It is your choice ultimately, how important you think it is.
