9 y boy, with cr simptoms of psoriasis (they don't tell you the Dgn of psoriasis) - uses for a long time glucocortig. cream. Now: purple-red discoloration on cheeks & upper eyelids, 1 week of lethargy. last days unable to climb stairs, comb hair, dress. U see atrophy of the proximal Muscles. he had a camping trip, and all these apear after that trip. He didn't have exposure to tick or poison Ive or oak.

Seems like typical presentations of dermatomyositis? purple-red discoloartion on cheeks & upper eyelids, atrophy of the proximal muscles, muscle weakness?

Yes calendar! A - is the answer. but I did it wrong in my test, because I thought DM is more common in women (what is true), and in older age-group (that is also true)... But I found in ped book (big one) - that can be in children also (with better prognosis), and all the simptoms that U wrote . Smart - U are!
