Hi, you have added a big plus point already by completing step 3. Congratulations for that. I know certified candidates whose interview invitations increased from 0-1 in first try to 10-15 in second try. Based on that, I can suggest that dont worry, keep working to have focused IM experinece if you want IM, it is the key !!. Nephrology is a great step. About research, for now neurology is good but you can always keep trying to get IM research through the contacts. Keep trying for more observerships if possible. Just keep going and good luck
