Hi! I am also on same position with one attempt on step 3 87 : cs 1attempt, step 1 82 step 2 92. Applying 3 years for now first year at least I got one interview, from next nothing so far. I do have one year clinical experience but no luck so far... I don't have any contacts....so it's like she said don't waste your money except you find some source to help..

@libby: like u said, FP isn't a "take for granted" field anymore like u said & it's also tough to get into cuz of the increased competition but it's still less competitive than IM which means u have much better chances. try to do some observerships in FP & get some good lor's...be flexible in where u apply & apply to FP....be willing to go to a small community program even.

Did you apply to peds past 3 years? Did u apply on sept 1st week? which year u graduated? do u need visa?

Hi,libby I applied peds for 2 years not this year coz from last 2 years not even one interview from peds. This year I applied for IM and FM. No luck so far. Yes I need visa. I graduated in 2003.
