A newborn is born with a hypoplastic mandible[THIS IS A embyro indirect QUESTION,you had to think mandible and malleus r interconnected with the 1st arch).Which of the following structures is also likely
to be affected? TENSOR TYMPANI-When tensed, the action of the muscle is to pull the malleus medially, tensing the tympanic membrane, damping vibration in the ear ossicles and thereby reducing the amplitude of sounds.( IF WE DO NOT HAVE IT, Malleus get destroyed)

A.Cricoid cartilage
B. Greater cornu of the hyoid bone
C. Malleus{The malleus or hammer is a hammer-shaped small bone or ossicle of the middle ear which connects with the incus and is attached to the inner surface of the eardrum, It arises from the cartilaginous portion of the auditory tube and the adjoining part of the great wing of the sphenoid, as well as from the osseous canal in which it is contained.
tensor tympani- Passing backward through the canal, it ends in a slender tendon which enters the tympanic cavity, makes a sharp bend around the extremity of the septum, and is inserted into the manubrium of the malleus, near its root}

D.Stapes
E. Thyroid Cartilage
"This arch divides into a maxillary process and a mandibular process, giving rise to structures including the bones of the lower two-thirds of the face and the jaw. The maxillary process becomes the maxilla (or upper jaw), and palate while the mandibular process becomes the lower jaw. This arch also gives rise to the muscles of mastication."

To counteract this toxicity,he begins tx with a hematopoeietic growth factor. 30 mins later,he develops dyspnea,severe muscle pain,vomiting and sinus tachycardia, his blood pressure is 80/40 mmHg. Which of the following hematopoietic growth factors most likely caused
these new findings?

A. Erthropoietin
B.Filgrastim
C. Platelet derived growth factor
