2009future:

one excellent way of getting a lot of attention is to commit self immolation infront of the white house...i honestly think you must do it....
others like tughral and dochoney could do the same in front of labor dept or a few hospitals ..the more the better

gas is real cheap right now think about it...and the great benefit that future american citizens will get..

you might get a road named after you too ...

This is ridiculous - how can you expect to have a right to work in a certain job?
Based on the numbers of medical students educated in the US, there is a NEED to import doctors from abroad. Otherwise, healthcare would collapse!
And of course programs will pick the candidates that they think are most successful - how could you blame them? Isn't that the spirit that made this country successful?
If you are an AMG and you have trouble getting an interview, you might be best advised to optimize your application package instead of blaming others.
And talking about unemployment: it may be at a peak level but for sure NOT for physicians!!! How many AMGs are jobless after the scramble? I bet, almost none.
