@HINT pl answer our questions ,thanks u
hey everyone...howz it going?my date is fast approaching.
i took nbme 4 on 8th and had 204/390.I was devastated.I was thinking i was ready cos of uwsa i took some wks back that i had 230.So i had to suspend preparing for cs and concentrated on ck.i did uw and mtb,starting from my low performance.So on 13th i took nbme 2 and had 237.I felt it was even harder than nbme 4.
But all the same,on mon i go and take the exam and give u guys the feedback.Hopefully i will do well.
good luck everyone.
Hello All sorry for the late reply .. caught up in family responsibility.

@Ckinjan: thanks so much

@confusedclinician: I did only one NBME that is 4th and that too online. I got 237. I did not have time to do the rest.. I felt confident and I went for the exam .... Also people said that NBME underestimate and UW-assessment Overestimates the score...

From Step 1 What to read? I revised following things from FA before the exam :
1.Glycogen storage disorers
2. lysosomal storage disorders
3. Immune deficiencies
4. Neurocutaneous syndromes
5. Neurology anatomy to diagnose lesions in the brain and dermatomes
6. some Physiology for Respiratory and cardiology

I also reviced Pathology section of that system for example... Ca Thyroid... or Beast pathology... Kaplan discusses how to diagnose but what will you see on the slide or FNAC for any perticular cancer is not mentioned.. same thing for the other diseases.

Still I missed some pathology questions in the actual exam.

For all : I am repeating it again : time management is key issue.
For that two things matter 1. Prepare well so that you are confident 2. take enough rest a day before the exam so that you are calm and composed on the real day (I missed my points on this one ... I had to rush for last few questions only because I could not focus properly from the beginning of the block. I also had stomach upset may be because of tension or may be because of lack of sleep ... that I lost two mins in the last block on the break...) So all the best ..

@Viv26: all the best, try to stay calm take enough rest (physically and mentally)
@HINT
