EEE
The correct answer is D

Most patients with acute low back pain improve with conservative management within 2 to 4 weeks. Early mobilization and return to normal activities should be encouraged.
NSAIDs and ACETAMINOPHEN are mainstays of pharmacologic therapy for acute low back pain. MUSCLE RELAXANTS are effective for short-term relief. Short-term use of a NARCOTICS could be considered for relief of severe, acute pain.
As the pain permits, gentle Stretching Exercises should be initiated. Patients should taper use of the analgesics while gradually increasing their normal activities. Twisting, bending and tilting should be avoided. If these are work-related activities, the patient may require a change to “LIGHT DUTY”. Teach techniques to lift heavy objects and educate patients about maintaining proper posture.
Good question and also explanation!

During the past year, he has had increasing difficulty going out in public. This is presenting great difficulty for him because he sells bonds and must spend much of his time entertaining customers, taking them out to dinner and socializing at cocktail parties. He has started to drink fairly heavily in order to be able to do his work. Without the alcohol, he says he barely can go out of the house. He admits to having one episode of extreme anxiety when he went out, during which time he felt as if he were going to die.
