i contacted ecfmg, they said they are happy with the copy. so do we need the original?

hello guys,whus up,how is surgery going on?hope you are all doing fine these days preparing for residency.freinds,I need to ask you a question,as i know most of you got a prelim spot for this year.My concern araises actually from many people who showed their preservations about going through prlim route claiming that at the time of application for catogorical spot next match at september 1st,there wouldnot be enougth time to get LOR from the prelim programs and no one can guss what might happen next match,iam sure all of you guys are familiar with such thing when you decided to go throught this way,So my question to you,do you have additional plans in mind to increase your chances for catogorical positions other than hard working to get LOR from your prelim programs and before starting residency this year,Iam just trying to try the same way but really need your suggestions about this vital issue.Thx and GL

can someone please tell me what we write on the ds 156 for how long do u intend to stay in the uS id we have got a one yr prelim spot? should it be one yr as thats all we have got or should we say 5 yrs since thats how long it may take?

nobody can give you a correct answer for that. we have to find out for ourselves. if you are an intern, the only thing you can do is work hard, oublish papers and get good lors.
