i also recvd letter from chicago. in this forum there is link telling about the left iv slots, acc. to it almost 75% slot are filled up now and aa i have called quiet afew rog. they say thatt they r still reviewing appli. n will notify bout rej as well as iv, whot do you think that this website is right in its statistics.
also i need a suggestion
i am planning to give step3 n as you can see my scores are not as good ,should i take my time to preparefor step3 or should give it hurredly no what the scores are.
step 3 is important if you want h1 visa, i personally feel that step 3 isnt considered for scores as much as steps 1 and 2. do not hurry but at the same time u shudnt delay very much also, so try to give it within the next 2 or 3 months. try to score reasonably like 80's or so. this is my opinion, but there are people who score 99's and feel differently. so i think its upto you finally what u really feel about ur score.
any one with past ob/gyn interview experience? please share.
i dint get the chicago mail which you guys did? wonder whats in store for me?
Hi guys, i also received that email from Chicago program.

I have a question, what would be your answer on the question about the toughest aspects of Ob/Gyn residency for you ?
Maybe we need to open a thread where we could share answers on the IV questions
the malpractice insurance costs. No answer for that yet hehe.
good idea, maybe one some already matched into ob/gyn or past experienced willing to help.

darevee, malpractice insurance in ob range from 100,000-16,000+ or more depend on how many lawsuit you got. the more lawsuit the more, malpractice insurance. that is the reasons there are not many programs for Ob left. many program closed.
I mean 100,000 to 160,000. salary of a primary care. average salary of ob/gyn is 250,000. not counting taxes, offices bills, nursing and secretary in your office if you open office. hire fo medical billing people so you can get hmo to reimburse.
They actually mean the toughest aspects of ob/gyn residency not the specialty. I was wondering if we could mention long work hours...
