12-10-08.
We also have a meet and greet scheduled for the evening Before which is 12-9
at the Holdiay Inn.
Please let me know if possible by this Friday 11/21 if you are able to attend
the meet and greet as the hotel will be looking for a count on Friday because
next week is Thanksgiving.

anybody else IV at Wayne State? What did u think of the program?
I had an iv at albert einstein. It was a laid back interview. They were all nice! There was a group interview! GL
Thanks biochem and sabo, I did like Flushing too, the problem is that I feel they don't have enough high risk OB and I'm interested in going for MFM after residency. The good part is that they fill their 3 categorical positions by prematch and they leave just the preliminar for the match. I went there before that date sabo, too bad we couldn't meet. GL Guys!

Wayne State-had my IV there this week, you start off at 7.00am. stayed at the holiday inn which is very near the hospital and they have a shuttle that drops you off at the hospital. try to stay near the hospital cos there could be traffic delays since it has started snowing there. Huge program. they will be taking 11 candidates this match season. nothing academic about the iv. just wanting to know you. some ethical questions asked about what you would do under certain conditions. they are currently having some accreditation problems which they openly discuss and they let you know whats going on and I thought their being transparent was very good. dont be scared to ask the quetions that bother you. you will be interviewed by 4 people. you will be taken on a hospital tour. like I said, its a big program. Gyn experience less than Obs but they are trying to work on it. The day should end btw 12 noon and 1pm. GL
GL everyone. This is a very interesting process. I usually love travelling around but with the few interview journeys i have taken in this past week, I am exhausted and glad to be back home.

Getting so many rejections, getting depressed,, daily atleast 2 to 4. only 4 ob interviews, finished 2 not able to assess what they think ofme or how i stand for match.
