@rosemary when is your exam ( expected)?
btw I agree with you to stick to FA and UW when it comes to pharmacology or any other subject.

@bugguy lets rock and roll with pharmacology .It is a challenging subject and not written well in FA .It is always at the end of units too and that makes it even more boring .Just yesterday I did hematology drugs and for chemotherapy agents they just put random tumors without giving any rhyme reason or even a measly mnemonic with it .Ofcourse if I read that even 10 times it will still remain a drug salad .
So please share your logic , patterns , tips and tricks to drug uses , s/e and mechanisms please.It is much needed.

@ cvd , how are you today , I hope you calmed down my friend , please share your 7 block marathon experience

@ rush , can you please share your previous nbme scores , I am so impressed by your speed in q banks and I think my study style is close to you but much slower.

Good morning everyone

I didn't do the 7 blocks in 8 he's, I took whole day to do so it was tiering but I was able to do. That too I didn't do UWSA, I did UW q bank so It was like revising may be that was also one reason iI was able to do.
I spoke to one tutor for tutoring in these last days but he is charging $4500 for 30 he's, I felt its tooooo much? So not doing that. When I was talking to him he said you should not take so long for prep. It should be quick. Supposed to do 7 blocks per day and revise the wrong q? So I thought OK let me try that :-)
I have another 9 blocks remaining so probably I will finish those today and revise them from tomorrow.

@rosemaryusmle UWSA has explanations for all the questions, not just the wrong ones.

@rosemaryusmle my exam trimester is feb to april but my school is sitting on my application too .
I listened to biostat vdos of Kaplan and read the chapters again recently and somehow it started making sense to me .I also read first chp of Goljan rapid review and suddenly it opened some doors in my brain .I havent taken online NBMEs so im not the best source to guide you because Ive not been judged correctly yet .However in my frustrated times I did ask here on the forum and the ppl who replied insisted on kaplan vdos and notes ..thats about it .

@asaha and rosemary where do we get UWSA ? is it available free of cost as well?

@zeeviq u can get it uw website..u have to buy it..i bought both of them with my qbank..i think its just 10usd more if u buy it separately..like around 30usd per exam.. R u revising all the ques from uw when u r doing it this time..i started to do so..eventually again its taking a lot of time specially when i m reading FA simultaneouly...

@zeeviq..Thanks for the reply. I have done 2010 kaplan and I get it when I read but while solving Q's I mostly end up with the wrong answers. ?Goljan does statistics too!
Regarding UWSA, like asaha said we have to buy it.

Thinking of the tutoring fees again...that's a lot of tax free money...Should we all switch plans and become tutors?? just kidding....
