Transitional year is one year program and it involves rotation in all departments like ob/GYN eNT, FM , peds as well as tradional IM and Surg. Transitonal year is very useful in applying to radiology, dermatology, anesthesiology in subsequent year, it is more competetive than prelim surgery, and it is for AMG who have not made their mind whether they wannna pursue surgical or medicine field. how to check whether our application is downloaded?
mery: were your LoRs uploaded? one of mine is still Not uploaded ,I doubt that the programs will come back to retrieve just one LoR now even if its is uploaded later..

thanks aldoccrazy.. so will it be worth it for an IMG with medium scores applying for a prelim Medical program... But i don't have any surgical LORs as well... so i don't think of applying for prelim surgical too... pls suggest...
Visr Prelim surgeries are the easiest of all , since it is a lot work and no guarantee at all, whereas there are greater chances after prelim medicine to categ medicine, and it is much easier in prelim medicine,
I believe that prelim medicine is for preferred by many AMG s, and that there less room for IMGs than in Prelim surgery
