@docx, it's a long answer to your short question. You need to know what the ACGME requirements for Neurology are. There are a few ways to know. One is you can look at the TY program schedule and see if it will meet the requirements. Two, sometimes they mention Neurology as a specialty (within the TY for prospective applicants) in which case you know they will accommodate you with Neurology if you get in. Three, if you are unsure, you can find out from the program itself. Four, you can bring it up on the IV day too to make sure. Sorry for a long response and I'm sure there are other ways of finding out, but these are the main ones I know about.
