Pathmatch, thanks for the reminder. But I do like path and I have lots of experience in path too. I can handle some slides for diagnosis now and I don't want to give up research. I don't need to worry about job offer after residency. As a citizen, I should have the same job offter as other AMGs after training.

that's my reason to stick to path.
I didn't hear from Cornell yet, not sure if it's because I applied too late, or because my application is still not complete.
99,99, pass, 5 years US research, publications, US citizen
icc, when did you send in your application? And did you receive an cornell rejection?
September 9th, I didn't apply to Cornell
ICC, Impressive. Good luck!
Thank you for your interest in our Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency Program here at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville . However, at this time we will not be considering your application for interview due to you not meeting our graduation year cut off, which is five years.

I got 2 rejections today, what a bad day. It looks like some Path programs don't like PhD, Since applicants holding PhD is more likely graduation >5 years.
It is bad that they don't tell you in details about these criteria in their website.
This is the information from University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville. No mention about graduation year cut off.
