Inhibits enopyruvyl transferase & addition of phosphenolpyruvate to Nacetylglucosamine to form
N-acetylmuramic acid

use- Cystitis d/t E. coli or Enterococcus faecalis
Single dose Tx for UTI

Oxazolidinone protein synthesis inhibitor
Binds 23s ribosomal RNA of 50S subunit

Prevents formation of 70s initiation complex

use- VRE,
MRSA,
PCNsensitive pneumococci


Inhibits MAO

done with imuno finally .. did only 15 pgs in fa fm imuno today , but i m satisfied that i finished kap notes too , at least i ll be confident with the qs now ..

will take a short revision of kap fungus chaps and start qs

i hate this imuno supressant drugs , can hardly pronounce their names .. how do u guys remember it ..
