Good morning all.@usmle2177 even I have the same plan to complete my uw by the end of this month & to do the revision with the marked & wrong q.DOnt worry thinking about the past.We learn by doing mistakes.Its not too late.
@usmle2177

hey wats this new thing about CS .. i ve no idea what the old format was .. is it going to be a lot more tougher .. i do want to give it befor june today .. but i dont know if 2 mnths is enough .. i ve been so long out of touch fm clinics .. someone said its easier to do CS just after step 1 .. but i wont feel so confident either without ck either ..am so scared of CS
@owlcity they are making changes to cis (communication & interpersonal skills ) & patient notes.
for patient notes before u had to write history, p/e ,5 DD (differential diagnosis ) , 5 diagnostic studies . new changes will be history , P/E , 3DD with physical exam finding that support your DD, 3 diagnosti studies. for CIS they are adding 5 functions & 5 subfunctions & other additional changes which they are in process of releasing.
your clinic experience in med school is different from the exam . they expect you to ask quest, do P/E, counselling , PN in there exam format only . the SP have a checklist with quest asking if you did that p/e r asked those particular quest. there is no rule r link to step 1 r 2 as there are so many who took cs before 1 & 2 & passed . the books you need are cs fa & uw .
& yes it is getting tough now a days to pass , even people with 95 + have failed cs . but release the fear & practice with live study partner only.
hey done with 10 questions of the day!

@2177: thanks..i was thinkin of doing somethin similar..but am not quite sure if that is the right way to do second round.. i was thinkin of reading fa during the morning hours ..say 50 pages and then putting myself though exam like scenario in the evenings by doing 3-4 timed random rounds to keep my agility going!
i am not sure though whether to do just marked and wrong ones or all of it...maybe to first to wrong and marked and if time permits do the others!!

yeah dont worry what u did back then..any form of knowledge is not a waste...sometimes i answer questions based on something i heard during lectures from med school!! being not from this system it sure is a little difficult..not getting the right guidance at the right time! but we all have made it this far..

goodluck guys!
